Open now — Shelburne
The fenced off-leash area at Fiddle Park, 105 County Road 11, Shelburne is the county’s operating dog park, open year-round with separate sections reported for small and large dogs. It sits inside the wider Fiddle Park grounds, so there is a walking trail and washrooms on site.
Not yet — Orangeville
Orangeville’s dog park on Hansen Road is closing because the land is being redeveloped for housing. The replacement is going in north of Hansen Boulevard on County Road 16, and by spring 2026 the grading, fencing and parking lot were finished.
It is not open. The Town’s own project page anticipates late 2026. Worth checking before you drive over — a finished fence is easy to mistake for a finished park.
On leash, everywhere else
Dogs are welcome on leash at Island Lake, Mono Cliffs and the Grand River conservation areas including Luther Marsh — each under its own managing agency’s rules, and the leash-length limits differ between them.
