The easiest place in the county to walk into art without an appointment, a ticket or a plan.
Dragonfly represents more than 200 Canadian artists, a good share of them from around here, and it works as a shop as much as a gallery — you can browse for twenty minutes or leave with something. The feel is closer to a working studio than a white-walled space where you feel watched.
It sits on Broadway among the rest of downtown, which makes it a natural stop on a Saturday that already involves the farmers’ market or lunch. If the weather has ruined an outdoor plan, this and the Museum of Dufferin are the two reliable indoor answers.
