A working farm near Erin that opens up for visits, and the best answer in the area to “the kids want to see animals”.
Highland cattle are the draw — the shaggy, long-horned ones that photograph absurdly well — alongside wagon rides, walking trails, seasonal blooms, weekend live music and wood-fired food.
It is outside Dufferin County, roughly half an hour south-west, and it complements rather than duplicates what is here: Dufferin does conservation areas and escarpment extremely well and has nothing much in the way of agritourism you can actually walk into.
Experiences are seasonal and booking is recommended rather than optional.
Details checked August 9, 2026. Fees, hours and closures change — phone ahead for anything that would ruin the trip if it were wrong.
