The single best park in the north of the county for a family with a spread of ages, because it does not make you choose.
On one site: a splash pad, a playground, a BMX area, a skateboard park, basketball, soccer, a walking path and washrooms. In winter the same grounds carry an outdoor rink.
That combination is the point. A ten-year-old on a bike and a toddler in the water can be at the same place at the same time, which is not true of most parks around here. Accessible parking and path improvements have been made.
