Monora Park Pavilion, 500 Monora Pk Dr, Mono, ON L9W 6S3·~7 min from Orangeville·40 acres, 18 km of trails·Year-round; trails are not winter-maintained

Forty acres and roughly eighteen kilometres of walking trails minutes north of town — a surprising amount of trail for somewhere this close, and far quieter than Island Lake on a summer weekend.

In winter the same network is used for cross-country skiing, and the park is home to the Mono Nordic Ski Club, whose groomed trails and lit night loop run from the pavilion here.

There is a picnic shelter, a gazebo and a playing field, and the pavilion is rentable. The municipal trails are not maintained through winter, so conditions are whatever the weather left.
