87 Broadway, Orangeville·Mainstage September–May

A professional theatre company founded in 1994 by artistic director Jim Betts, and known nationally for developing new Canadian work rather than only touring the safe stuff. The 2025–26 mainstage was its 32nd season.

The mainstage runs September to May in the Town Hall Opera House at 87 Broadway — 273 seats, all of them good. The company also manages the venue on the Town’s behalf, and runs children’s programming and KidsFEST in Alexandra Park each August.

Also worth knowing: Orangeville Music Theatre stages community musicals at the same Opera House, with productions scheduled into January 2027. Grace Tipling Hall in Shelburne is the area’s other performance venue, and Galaxy Cinemas Orangeville is licensed for beer and wine.
